BNP Paribas has gotten creative with its capital introduction events, most recently hosting a bowling get-together at the swanky Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in Manhattan.
Twenty-two hedge funds attended the April 20 event, including Castle Creek Capital and Lakewood Capital Management. Tenor Capital Management was the highest-scoring team and won the “2 & 20? These Guys Deserve 5 & 50" award. One participant with the most gutter balls won in the “Good Thing There Are No Side Pockets in Bowling” category.
Brent Hayes of Basso Capital Management won the “Can You Imagine This Score with Leverage” award for best individual performance.
